1. I only have two more months left to punch out of my new calendar set before school is out.
2. The giant mountain of snow outside my window at school had almost completely melted by 2:30 pm.
3. The official start of spring is in March!
4. Fourth graders are hilarious. (I knew this already, just really appreciated it today.)
5. My husband made me taco dip for an after school snack. I love that guy.
6. I L-O-V-E where I work and the people I work with. (And I don't care that I ended that sentence with a preposition.)
7. Black is my new best friend. So are sweatpants.
8. The sight of raspberries makes me want to puke a little. (I think this is just a pregnancy thing.)
9. I am awake after 5pm for the first time in what seems like a loooong time. Energy rush? I hope so!
10. Seriously... Life rocks. :)

14 weeks....
I have reached the second trimester! Yeah! (Taken 2-24-11)
Today, I am fourteen weeks along. Still don't have much of a bump yet, but my clothes have definitely reached the 'snug' point. I am not quite rounded out enough for maternity pants yet (tried that at school for a day....about had a wardrobe malfunction walking down the hall!) So, perhaps I need to hold off a little longer on the (TWO!) pairs of maternity jeans I've already bought.
I am SO looking forward to that second trimester 'rush of energy' my friends keep telling me about. It hasn't happened yet! I will keep hoping, though.
I thank God every day for a relatively easy and comfortable pregnancy so far. I pray it continues! I thank Him for a loving husband who is more than excited to be a Daddy, for friends and family who tell me how excited they are for us, and, most of all, for the little blessing on its way to our house.

Making Room for "Sweet Pea".....
Preparations have begun for the littlest Tippett. We got our crib furniture assembled (and by 'we', I mean Cole) last weekend and moved it all into our spare room. I go in there all the time now and just look around--like a total goofball. I am definitely excited to get to the decorating stage.
This (below) was my first purchase for the nursery after we found out I was expecting. There's a little crack in the frame which I didn't notice when I bought it, but I think it's rather charming.
We got our first "toy" for the baby today. Linda, the sweet woman that cuts Cole's hair, got us the softest, cutest little lamb. It's funny how one little soft 'baby thing' can make you SO anxious for that precious bundle to get here!
Sweet Pea, we are thrilled that you are about to be a part of our lives. We love you so much and can't wait to meet you!

Snow My Goodness!!
The Tippett Ranch (and much of the state of Missouri) was snowed under for a couple of days this week. Here's a little glimpse of the great Blizzard of 2011, just a little north of Bible Grove. :)
Yep. Those are Christmas lights still on the house...(my husband's fault) and Christmas lamps still on the porch (my fault). I have no real excuse.

The Second Little 'Peek'
Much bigger than our first ultrasound at 7 weeks, but, yeah, the munchkin is still only about the size of a plum. Funny though, how something so small can make you feel so yucky from time to time!! :)
Below is a lightning-fast video we got....
We could have sat in the office all day and watched "peanut" move around. So cool!! He/She was doing some arm waving at first, but must have decided to be stubborn after that. I can't wait for the next one!
